A cold snap swept through Nuevo Laredo.   While heat doesn’t phase the kids, extreme cold is not something they are used to.  But donations of coats, hats and jammies kept them warm.  So thanks to all who contributed to keeping the kids warm this winter.

A business in Frisco collected new coats, shoes and toothbrushes, a true blessing…especially in light of the cold snap that hit Nuevo Laredo.

A group from Preston Trail Community Church in Frisco, Texas came to Casa Hogar October 8th armed with new baby beds, mattresses, dressers…..and adult-sized trundle beds for the teenage girls who stay with, and take such good care of the babies.

The goodies were a result of a CHE Baby Shower that was hosted at the Lakes Tennis Academy in Frisco and attended by over 60 generous ladies who have a real heart for the kids at Casa Hogar.

Thanks so much for your help…the babies are sleeping much better, and the teen girls are no longer sleeping in toddler beds and on the floor!
